As Director of Sustainability for U.S. Polo Assn., I am responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring USPA Global Licensing’s global sustainability strategy. This includes setting standards for responsible sourcing, preferred manufacturing processes, and the use of preferred materials like organic cotton to collectively reduce our environmental footprint. Additionally, this includes supporting in-office initiatives and philanthropic opportunities.

It’s hard to say whether my passion turned into a career, or my career turned into a passion but either way, here I am and I love every minute of it. 

While I’m an eternal optimist, I’m also very much a realist. The problems that face our world are overwhelming, often paralyzing. We see the problems but when looking for solutions, we are usually met with industry jargon and false claims. I approach my work with the belief that perfection is the enemy of progress. Small actions matter and I think it’s important to meet people where they are in their sustainability journey.
